Lillebælt Explorer Diver

Description This thesis is an introduction to the Little Belt. When you become certified, you are a Little Belt Explorer diver. The purpose is to acquaint divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, dangers and joys of specific diving in the Little Belt area and its habitat. It is intended to function as a safe and supervised introduction to diving in the Little Belt. The training emphasizes safety and that it should be "fun". The purpose of the Lillebælt Explorer special course is to train divers to become ambassadors for the Lillebælt, where we give them knowledge and diving skills within a locally unique sea area in Denmark.   The goals are: - To give the diver local knowledge about the marine environment and biology in the Little Belt area. - To give the diver knowledge about safe diving practices, dive planning and performing dives in the Little Belt area. – To understand the value and importance of the environment in the Little Belt. – To enrich the diver with practical skills and unique experiences combined with the local marine environment.   Course: This course contains a theory module and 3 open water dives. We strive to keep the theory modules right up to the dives, so that theory and practice are followed.
